    Whereas By-law 2020-60 limits the number of delegations from one organization or group to two people; and
    Whereas a Committee may vote to not follow a Rule of Procedure established by By-law 2020-60, with a two-thirds majority vote; 
    Be It Resolved That the agenda for the July 6, 2022 Social Services Committee be approved, as amended, to consider delegations from the Town of Cobourg (Council Members and staff) and the public at today’s meeting, regarding homelessness and sheltering issues, in follow up to the July 4, 2022 Town of Cobourg’s Special Council Meeting."

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to determine program options for the $247,045 allocation under the new Homelessness Prevention Program to support permanent housing options for people experiencing homelessness, effective April 1, 2023.”
