    "That the agenda for the April 29, 2024 Public Works Committee be approved."

    "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the Town of Cobourg regarding 'Request to the Province to Amend Blue Box Regulation for 'Ineligible' Sources' for information, noting that County Council previously considered and supported correspondence regarding this subject matter at the April 17, 2024 County Council meeting; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe and the Town of Plympton-Wyoming regarding 'Tile Drain Loan Limit' for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the Town of Whitby regarding 'Ontario Energy Board's Decision to End the Gas Pipeline Subsidy' for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Public Works Committee, having considered report 2024-061 ‘RFQ 24-09 - 2024 Paving of Various County Roads Award’, recommend that County Council award RFQ 24-09 (2024 Paving of Various County Roads) to Drain Bros. Excavating Limited in the amount of $2,789,075.73 (inclusive of provisional items and non-recoverable HST); and

    Further That the Public Works Committee recommend that County Council approve any savings realized at project completion relative to the estimated total project cost of $3,119,075.73 be transferred back into the Public Works Capital Reserve to be used towards financing other 2024 programs or future years capital works projects.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Public Works Committee recommend that County Council proclaim the week of May 19 to 25, 2024 as 'National Public Works Week' in Northumberland County, at the May 15, 2024 County Council meeting."
