    "That the agenda for the February 3, 2025 Public Works Committee be approved."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Stratford and Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury regarding 'Deposit Return Program' for information, noting that County Council previously considered and supported correspondence regarding this subject matter at the January 22, 2025 County Council meeting; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the correspondence for information."

    "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Stratford and Township of South Stormont regarding 'Establishment of an Ontario Rural Road Safety Program' for information, noting that County Council previously considered and supported correspondence regarding this subject matter at the November 20, 2024 County Council meeting; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the correspondence for information."

    That the Public Works Committee receive Report 2025-018 ‘Golden Plough Lodge Northumberland County Archives and Museum (GPL NCAM) Redevelopment - Construction Update’ for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Public Works Committee, having considered Report 2025-019 ‘Golden Plough Lodge and Northumberland County Archives and Museum (GPLNCAM) Redevelopment – Encroachment Agreement with Northumberland Supportive Non-Profit Housing Corporation O/A Halcyon Place’, recommend that County Council direct staff to enter into an encroachment agreement with Halcyon Place for a portion of retaining wall and sidewalk placed on Halcyon Place Lands as part of the adjacent GPLNCAM redevelopment.”

    Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Sections 239.(2.b), (2.c), and (2.k) in order to address matters pertaining to personal matters about identifiable individuals, a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality, and confidential negotiations (Easement Agreement - Public Works), and that Jennifer Moore, Denise Marshall, Darrell Mast, Peter Deshane, Carol Coleman, Maddison Mather, and Cheryl Sanders remain present."
