• Recommended Motion:

  "That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from the Township of Champlain regarding 'Surveillance and Monitoring of Heavy Vehicles in Ontario' for information; and

  Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

Report 2025-108 'Accessible Upgrades to Emergency Exits at 555 Courthouse Road'

Adam McCue, Associate Director Operations

• Recommended Motion:

  “That the Public Works Committee, having considered Report 2025-108 ‘Accessible Upgrades to Emergency Exits at 555 Courthouse Road’, recommend that County Council award RFQ 25-06 – Replacement of Exterior Walkways at 555 Courthouse Rd., to AVI Construction Inc., at their bid price of $172,822.20, inclusive of HST; and

  Further That the Committee recommend that County Council authorize the use of $87,228.22 in funds from Facilities Reserves, to partially fund this project.”

Report 2025-109 'Corporate Video Surveillance Camera Policy Update'

• Recommended Motion:

  “That the Public Works Committee, having considered Report 2025-109 ‘Corporate Video Surveillance Camera Policy Update’, recommend that County Council approve the revised Corporate Video Surveillance Camera Policy; and

  Further That the Committee recommend that County Council enact a by-law at the June 18, 2025 County Council meeting to adopt the revised Video Surveillance Camera Policy and to repeal By-law 2016-46."

Report 2025-110 'Costs Associated with Fire Services and Infrastructure Related to Highway 401'

• Recommended Motion:

  “That the Public Works Committee receive Report 2025-110 ‘Costs Associated with Fire Services and Infrastructure Related to Highway 401’ for information; and

  Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

Report 2025-111 'Reconstruction of County Road 64 Cost Sharing Agreement with the Municipality of Brighton'

• Recommended Motion:

  “That the Public Works Committee, having considered Report 2025-111 ‘Reconstruction of County Road 64 Cost Sharing Agreement with the Municipality of Brighton’, recommend that County Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Director of Finance / Treasurer to execute the cost sharing agreement with the Municipality of Brighton for the reconstruction of County Road 64 on terms satisfactory to the Municipal Solicitor.”
