    "That the agenda for the May 7, 2025 Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee be approved."

    "That the Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee receive the Quarter 1, 2025 Financial Analysis for the Economic Development, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives Department for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the Quarter 1, 2025 Financial Analysis for information."

    That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2025-103 ‘Planning, Economic Development & Strategic Initiatives Department Quarter 1, 2025 Update’ for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

    That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2025-104 ‘Prosper In Northumberland’ for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to send a copy of this report to each member municipality for information.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Economic Development, Tourism and Planning Committee, having considered Report 2025-105 ‘Project Funding for County Official Plan Update’, recommend that County Council approve $100,000 in additional funding to complete the County Official Plan Update; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council authorize staff to transfer $100,000 from the Land Use Planning General Reserve to finance the balance of the Official Plan Update.”

    "That this Committee proceed with the next portion of the meeting being closed to the public at _______p.m.; and 

    Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Sections 239.(2.c) and (2.k) in order to address matters pertaining to a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and confidential negotiations (Community Development), and that Jennifer Moore, Dwayne Campbell, Darrell Mast, Cheryl Sanders and Matthew Stergios remain present."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That this Committee rise from Closed Session at _____ p.m.; and

    Further That the confidential resolution moved in Closed Session regarding matters pertaining to a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and confidential negotiations (Community Development), is hereby referred to the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee, which refers it to County Council for adoption."
