  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the agenda for the March 6, 2024 Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee be approved."

    "That the Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee receive the correspondence from the Eastern Ontario Wardens Caucus (EOWC) regarding 'Support for Modernizing the Energy Infrastructure Construction Approval Process' for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Brantford regarding 'Reliable and Accessible Public Rail Transit - CN Rail' for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2024-039 ‘Annual Development Activity 2023’ for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee, having considered Report 2024-040 ‘Sewage System Agreement Renewal’, recommend that County Council authorize staff to prepare a by-law for a renewed sewage system agreement between the County and local municipalities; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council approve staff to execute the agreement as presented, subject to any minor amendments recommended by the Municipal Solicitor; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to send a copy of the renewed sewage service agreement to each local municipality for signature; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that upon the local municipalities signing the agreement, County Council enact a by-law to ratify the agreement at the June 19, 2024 County Council meeting.”

    "That this Committee proceed with the next portion of the meeting being closed to the public at _______p.m.; and 

    Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Section 239. (2.k) in order to address confidential negotiations regarding broadband, and that Jennifer Moore, Dwayne Campbell, TJ Flynn, Maddison Mather and Cheryl Sanders remain present; and 

  • Recommended Motion:

    That this Committee rise from Closed Session at _____ p.m.; and

    Further That the confidential resolution moved in Closed Session regarding confidential negotiations regarding broadband, is hereby referred to the Economic Development, Tourism, and Land Use Planning Committee, which refers it to County Council for adoption."
