    "That the agenda for the September 3, 2024 Corporate Support Committee be approved."

    "That the Corporate Support Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Stratford regarding 'Accessible Ontario by 2025' for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Corporate Support Committee receive the correspondence from the Municipality of Wawa regarding 'Ontario's Forest Sector' for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That the Corporate Support Committee receive the presentation regarding Corporate Services 'Health, Safety, Emergency Planning 2024 Update' for information; and

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the correspondence for information."

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Corporate Support Committee, having considered Report 2024-109 ‘Northumberland County Archives and Museum (NCAM) Sponsorship Policy’, recommend that County Council approve Northumberland County Archives and Museum Sponsorship Policy at the September 18, 2024 County Council meeting.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Corporate Support Committee, having considered Report 2024-110 ‘Warden and Deputy Warden Responsibilities’, recommend that County Council direct staff to arrange a meeting for the 2025 Warden, Deputy Warden and the County’s Chief Administrative Officer, sometime after December 18, 2024 and prior to the January 2025 Council meeting, to discuss the division of responsibilities between the Warden and Deputy Warden, and to bring forward a report to the January 2025 Council meeting regarding the division of responsibilities for Council’s input / consideration.”

    That the Corporate Support Committee receive Report 2024-111 ‘Unfinished Council Business Update’ for information; and 

    Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

  • Recommended Motion:

    That the Corporate Support Committee recommend that County Council proclaim the following list of proclamations at the September 18, 2024 County Council meeting:

    • National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - September 30, 2024; 
    • Local Government Week - October 13 to 19, 2024; and
    • Cyber Security Awareness Month - October, 2024."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That this Committee proceed with the next portion of the meeting being closed to the public at _______p.m.; and 

    Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Sections 239.(2.a), (2.c), (2.f) and (2.k) in order to address matters pertaining to the security of the property of the Municipality or Local Board, a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for the purpose and confidential infrastructure negotiations (Corporate Services), and that Jennifer Moore, Lisa Ainsworth, Darrell Mast, Todd Farrell, Maddison Mather and Matthew Stergios remain present."

  • Recommended Motion:

    "That this Committee rise from Closed Session at _____ p.m.; and

    Further That the confidential resolution moved in Closed Session regarding the security of the property of the municipality or local board, a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land, advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for the purpose and confidential infrastructure negotiations (Corporate Services), is hereby referred to the Corporate Support Committee, which refers it to County Council for adoption."
